SJ/WR: World Receiver

My father used to bring home things that other people didn't want. He wouldn't discard anything or anyone just because of a small malfunction or flaw. He would find beauty and use in anything and collect all sorts of things. I guess the saying “some people's trash is other people’s treasure” would very much apply.
Once he found a portable radio and started carrying it around, blasting music on it. He blasted it because there was no way to turn it down - that was this radio's malfunction - you could either listen to it very loudly or switch it off.

I remember sitting in his room shortly after he passed, staring at an old wooden chair on which he left his radio. And then I saw it - The radio was called 'World Receiver'. And I realized I'm like this radio - I tune into all these different frequencies, people, realms. I receive the signals and most of the time I can't control it, whether it has a positive or negative effect on me.
And I can either feel it all or feel nothing - the knob for turning the volume down seems to be broken or simply not built yet. The only thing I'm able to do is to convert and transmute all of these feelings and give them back to the universe, in one way or another. And that's why I'm an artist, a mediator, tuning in and channelling, broadcasting from eternity…
