DJ Hectical and NoomRa met in 2020 and have since than performed together in some of the most well-known Dusseldorf clubs: Kulturbanausen im Ratinger Hof, Cube, Reinraum, Kö106, WP8. In addition they were part of German hip hop legend Der Wolf's show on Twitch and performed at Dusseldorf's 'Büdchentag' in 2022 (Timestretch Büdchen).

I was invited to take part in the festivities for April 25th, organized by Edifício Arte Contínua (a Portuguese NGO). They decided to celebrate Portugal's national 'festa' with month-long online (due to Covid-19) programme.

*April 25th, known as Freedom Day, is a national holiday in Portugal. It celebrates the 1974 Revolution that ended the 50-year long dictatorship and started a democracy.
This is a recording of me improvising over some chill vynil instrumentals.
Accompanied by a video that I created with footage from the time I was living in Portugal (2017-2020).

Jamming, or the process of creating music on the spur of the moment together with other musicians, is something sacred for me: freely singing and merging with the sound - it makes me feel ALIVE and so complete! For me music improvisation is the magic of being in tune with the hearts of the musicians around you and with your own heart and spirit!
